A classroom at Jeju (중앙) Jungang Girls’ High School is full of students.
The reason? Representatives from Kansai University in Japan are at the school to give presentations on their admissions process.

Kansai University gives admission presentation at high school
Kansai University was founded as Kansai Law School in 1886 in Osaka. It celebrated its 130th anniversary last year.
The university includes 13 departments including law, literature, and economics.

Jungang Girls’ High School & Kansai University sign MOU
Kansai University is already partnered with some Korean universities for academic exchanges, and this newly-signed MOU with a Korean high school is a first.
Some admissions officers from the university were in Jeju to visit the high school.

Principal notes Japan’s high graduate employment rate
The principal noted that the employment rate for college graduates in Japan is at 98 percent, and that competition for college admissions is only getting fiercer in Korea.

One of the several reasons to choose Kansai University is location. Jeju and Osaka are close, and there are many Koreans living in Osaka.

Students can easily access information on the Japanese university, and also learn more about a wider choice of post-secondary options.

I think the MOU will help me prepare to study abroad. Access to information about foreign universities is limited and agencies charge too much.
