When a strong wind sweeps away the clouds, the magnificent view of Hallasan Mountain appears.
(백록담) Baekrokdam rises above the snow-covered fields against the backdrop of the blue sky. It’s awe inspiring.

Magnificent spectacle of hoarfrost on trees
The interlocking ice crystals become attached to branches of trees and come into bloom.

First snow comes 18 days later than last year
As the temperature plunged to - 8.1 degrees celsius, the first snow landed on the mountain on November 19th, 18 days later than last year.
Around 1 centimeter of snowfall was recorded. The snowflakes on the branches are twinkling.

The white peaks of the mountain attracted weekend hikers after receiving the first snowfall of the season early Saturday.
Hikers forgot about their fatigue while appreciating the landscapes.
They were busy taking photos against the backdrop of snow covered fields.
