Province boosts childbirth grant
\500,000 for first child, \2m for second

The provincial government has increased its childbirth grant this year.

The province will pay parents two million won for the birth of their second child. The grant for a first child has also gone from 100,000 to 500,000 won.

All parents who have been registered as official Jeju residents for at least six months qualify. They can apply for the grant when they register their child’s birth at their community service office.

출산장려금 확대, 둘째부터 200만원

올해부터 출산 장려금이 확대 지원됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 올해 기준 둘째 이상 자녀를 출산한 가정에 출산 장려금 2백만 원을 지원합니다.

또 첫째 출산 장려금도 지난해 10만 원에서 올해 50만 원으로 확대됐습니다.

지원대상은 제주도에 6개월 이상 주민등록된 출산 가정으로 읍면동에 출생 신고와 함께 출산장려금을 신청하면 됩니다.
