Critics complain of inadequate consensus about questions

The first public opinion poll about the opening of Greenland International Hospital has been delayed.

The provincial committee in charge of it decided to postpone it during a Tuesday morning meeting. It had been scheduled to begin later that day.

Analysts attribute the delay to a civic organization’s complaints Monday of inadequate consensus and explanations about the poll questions.

The committee had planned to ask survey respondents about the pros and cons of the hospital, whether it should be reserved for the use of foreign nationals or if Koreans should also be allowed to use it, and other related issues.


녹지국제병원 1차 공론조사 연기

당초 14일부터 실시할 예정이던 녹지국제병원 1차 공론조사가 연기됐습니다.

제주특별자치도 녹지국제병원 숙의형 공론조사위원회는 14일 오전 논의 끝에 1차 공론조사를 연기하기로 결정했습니다.

이는 13일 시민단체가 설문 문항에 대해 충분한 설명과 합의가 이뤄지지 않았다며
문제를 제기한 데 따른 것으로 보입니다.

한편 공론조사위원회는 녹지병원 찬반 의견과 내국인 이용 여부 등 설문조사 문항을 확정하고 14일부터 1차 공론조사를 진행할 예정이었습니다.
