1. Province to improve Shinhwa World water supply and drainage system
Follows sewage backflow problem at site
The provincial government is planning to improve the water supply and drainage system at Shinhwa History Park in response to a sewage backflow problem at the site.
The province will boost the water supply, which had been cut back to meet the actual usage amount.
The per person supply will more than double from the current 136 liters to 279 liters, while the drainage capacity will go from 98 liters per capita to 244.
The province will charge the facility more for the water, according to the newly strengthened standards.
It will also require the installation of both an electronic flow meter to monitor the sewage throughput and additional sewage detention facilities.
