A very big benefit of visiting or living on Jeju Island is its variety. As travelers, you can easily fill your day with sightseeing and shopping. Alternatively, you can take a more leisurely approach, mixing in time to enjoy its marine and mountain habitats.

Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo
One such destination south of Hallasan Mountain is a 174-hectare gem in Jeju’s natural environment. It’s a venerable cedar forest called the Seogwipo Forest of Healing in Andeok-myeon. Overseen by Seogwipo City’s Department of Forest and Recreation Management, it is designed to help you restore your physical and mental health.

11-km network of 10 trails through 174 hectares of forest
The peripatetic, 11-kilometer network of forest trails takes advantage of the natural dampening effect of the thick forest canopy and towering trees, most over 60 years in age. It is a quiet, soothing place where you can truly appreciate the splendor of nature’s sights, sounds, and scents.

Trails range from 600 m to 2 km
Each of the 10 well-maintained and family-friendly trails has a nature theme and a charming name in the Jeju language. They range in length from 600 meters to 2 kilometers. Walk as many as you’d like. If you need to rest, there are benches and shelters located strategically along way.
