The Honam Regional Statistics Office says the unemployment rate in Jeju last month was 2.8 percent?0.8 percentage points higher than in January 2018.

There was a stark contrast between men and women. The unemployment rate for women rose 1.8 points, but it actually fell for men.

지난달 제주지역 실업률 2.8%

올해 1월 기준 제주지역 실업률이 증가했습니다.

호남지방통계청에 따르면 지난달 제주지역의 실업률은 2.8%로 지난해 같은 기간보다 0.8%p 상승했습니다.

특히 남성은 지난해 대비 실업률이 하락했지만 여성은 오히려 1.8%p 증가해 대조를 보였습니다.
