5. Provincial government earmarks ￦740mil to restore ports
Restored inlets to be used as tourism resource

The provincial government will spend 740 million won to restore village ports that are in decay.

The target sites this year are Samyang-dong in Jeju-si, Daejeong-eup and Pyoseon-myeon in Seogwipo.

The provincial office is restoring village ports to use as a tourism resource for fishing villages. The government has reconstructed 4 out of 36 village ports since the project began in 2015.

사라지고 있는 마을 포구를 복원합니다.

올해 복원 대상은
제주시 삼양동과 서귀포시 대정읍, 표선 등 세 곳입니다.

제주도는
2015년부터 복원사업을 시작했으며
도내 전통포구 36곳 가운데 4곳을 복원 정비했습니다.

제주도는
복원된 포구를 어촌 관광자원으로 활용할 계획입니다.
