3. Province to implement ‘alternate-day driving system’
Extra measures to tackle fine-dust levels

The provincial government will implement measures to reduce fine dust levels including the alternate-day driving system for vehicles of public organizations.

The province plans to fixate the system in administrative and public institutes and install on-ground power supply facilities to reduce pollutants from ships idling.

Authorities will also investigate some 1,400 business sites for illegal emissions of arsenic dust.

A special inspection team will check the implementation process of fine dust related policies.

비롯한 미세먼지 저감 시책을
추진합니다.

제주도는
행정과 공공기관을 대상으로
차량 2부제를 완전 정착하고
특히 선박 공회전에 의해 발생하는
오염물질을 줄이기 위해 육상 전원 공급시설도
설치할 계획입니다.
1천 4백여개 사업장을 대상으로
비산먼지 무단 배출 여부도
집중 단속합니다.

제주도는
이 같은 미세먼지 관련 시책을 추진하고
이행여부를 확인하는
특별점검반을 운영할 예정입니다.
