3. Province promotes work-family balance for public servants
Regulations were revised to accommodate new policies
The provincial government will expand support for work-family balance.
The government has revised regulations for local public servants and implemented “a family leave system” from the second half of this year. This policy will enable local public officials to take up to three days off when their family members are sick.
Public institutions will be subject to a cap system to limit overtime working hours for each department. Government officials will also be encouraged to use all of their annual vacation days.

이를 위해 지방공무원 복무조례를 개정해
병에 걸린 가족을 간호하기 위해
연간 사흘 범위 내에서 가족돌봄휴가제를 도입합니다.
또 부서별로 초과근무 총량제를 운영해
과도한 야근을 개선하고
권장연가제도를 활성화할 계획입니다.
