Tourism sector fares better in 2019

The local construction industry is yet struggling, while the tourism sector is showing better results.

The Jeju branch of the Bank of Korea announced in its report on real economic trends that the building permit area decreased by 20.7% last month compared to the same period last year.

The tourism industry is showing positive results with a 60% increase in foreign tourists compared to the same period last year.

20.7% 줄어들면서 감소세를 이어가고 있습니다.

반면 관광객 수는 외국인 관광객이
지난해 같은 기간 대비 60% 늘면서 증가하는 것으로 나타났습니다.
