7. JNU to refund up to ￦490,000 to each student
Eligible students will be paid in the form of a grant

Jeju National University will refund up to 490,000 won of tuition fees to every student.

JNU said that regular classes were not in session during the first semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so the school will refund 11% of the tuition back to the students in the form of a special scholarship.

Eligible students will include all students who have paid the tuition fees for the first semester, including students who will graduate in August.

However, students who are exempt from paying tuition and have been on leave during the first semester are excluded from the grants.

제주대학교가 학생 1명당 최대 49만원의 등록금을 반환합니다.

제주대는 코로나19로 정상적인 수업이 이뤄지지 않으면서
올해 1학기 등록금 납부액의 11%를 특별장학금으로 지급한다고
밝혔습니다.

특별장학금은 올해 1학기 등록금을 낸 학생에 한해 지원되며
올해 8월 졸업생도 지급 대상에 포함됩니다.

다만 지난학기에 등록금을 면제 받았거나
자퇴 또는 휴학 한 학생들은 지급대상에서 제외됩니다.
