Governor Won pushing for casino license renewal system
Province will exercise stricter administrative supervision

Amid controversy over the recent decision to relocate Dream Tower Casino, Governor Won Hee-ryong announced that he is preparing for a casino license renewal system.

During a question and answer session with the provincial government held on the morning of the 21st, Governor Won acknowledged that the casino gambling business in Nohyeong-dong stirred concerns. He emphasized that he is pushing to improve the system and cancel permits to those who violate conditions through changing relevant laws.

He said that there are currently no legal grounds that revoke permission even when conditions are violated, and added that he will exercise administrative supervision over conditions for approval in various ways.

최대한 이행하도록
다방면으로 행정감독권을 발동하겠다고 덧붙였습니다.
