Restaurants offering entertainment services caught

While an order to ban gatherings on entertainment facilities was issued to prevent the spread of COVID-19, restaurants and cafes offering illegal entertainment services were caught.

The province announced that in cooperation with the Jeju police, it had discovered 12 violations, during a crackdown held on July 23 and 29.

In particular, they cracked down on 51 restaurants suspected of conducting entertainment services, and found 12 violations, including 10 violations of the Infectious Disease Prevention Act and 2 violations of the Food Sanitation Act.

The province plans to take legal action, along with administrative measures such as suspension of business and imposition of fines for violating the order.

카페 등 일반음식점에서의 유흥성 불법행위가 무더기 적발됐습니다.

제주도는 경찰과 합동으로 7월 23일과 29일 일반음식점 유흥성 불법행위 등
12건의 위반사항을 적발했다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 유흥성이 의심되는 일반음식점 51개소에 대해 단속을 벌여
감염병예방법 위반 10건, 식품위생법 위반 2건 등 12건을 적발했습니다.

제주도는 위반 업소에 대해 영업 중지와 과태료 부과 등 행정처분과 함께
고발 등 사법조치할 방침입니다.
