Apartment prices in Jeju continue to decline, while prices nationwide are on the rise.

According to the Korea Real Estate Board, in the fifth week of last month, apartment sale prices in Jeju dropped by 0.02%, and rental prices fell by 0.05%.

In contrast, the nationwide average saw a 0.02% increase in sale prices and a 0.05% rise in rental prices.

Real estate experts attribute the decline in Jeju to high interest rates and an economic downturn, which have dampened buyer sentiment, while the accumulation of unsold homes in Jeju has further driven the downward trend in prices.

제주지역 아파트 가격 하락세가 지속되고 있는 반면 전국은 상승세를 이어가고 있습니다.

한국부동산원에 따르면 지난달 다섯째 주 도내 아파트 매매가격은 전주 대비 0.02%, 전세가격은 0.05% 각각 하락했습니다.

반면 전국 평균 아파트 매매가격 0.02%
전세가격은 0.05% 각각 오른 것으로 나타났습니다.

부동산 업계는 고금리와 경기 침체로 매수심리가 위축됐고 제주의 경우
미분양 주택이 쌓이면서 주택 가격 하락세가 지속되고 있는 것으로 분석했습니다.
