Hado Elementary School has published a picture book on the Hadori Women Haenyeo Divers’ Anti-Japanese Movement in both Korean and English.

The picture book was created based on research and studies conducted by 4th-grade students last year and this year, focusing on the Hadori Women Divers’ Anti-Japanese Movement, one of the three major anti-Japanese movements in Jeju.

Anyone can download the book from the Jeju appreciation education section on the Jeju office of education’s official website.

하도초등학교가
하도리 해녀항일운동을 주제로 한 그림책을
한글판과 영문판으로 동시 출간했습니다.

이번에 출간된 그림책은
지난해와 올해,
4학년 학생들이
제주 3대 항일운동 중 하나인
하도리 해녀항일운동에 대해 조사하고
학습한 내용을 바탕으로
글과 그림으로 재구성한 작품입니다.
