The Seongsan (성산) Sunrise Festival, marking the end of this year and welcoming the new year of 2025, will open on the 31st at Seongsan Sunrise Peak.

This year’s 32nd edition of the festival will be held under the theme "Brilliant Seongsan Sunrise" and will feature a variety of performances and programs.

The main event includes bonfires, sharing wishes and countdown for the New Year, and lighting of bonfires near midnight of the 31st.

For those wishing to participate in the first sunrise hike at Seongsan Ilchulbong on New Year's Day, reservations will be available on the festival website on a first-come, first-served basis.
