The management difficulties faced by small businesses in Jeju have worsened due to sluggish domestic demand and rising raw material costs.

According to a survey conducted by the Jeju branch of the Korea Federation of SMEs, which targeted 207 local small businesses, 75.9% of respondents reported that their business conditions have deteriorated this year compared to last year.

Additionally, 72% of small business owners expect the economy to worsen in the coming year.

The primary challenges cited by small businesses include weak domestic demand, rising raw material prices, and increasing labor costs.
