Jeju Province's Hometown Love Donation has surpassed 3 billion won this year.

This amount is more than double last year's total of 1.51 billion won, with the number of donations also increasing by more than double compared to last year.

Jeju attributes the increase to the strengthening of promotional efforts, offering various benefits to donors who contribute over 100,000 won, such as free entry to public tourist sites, priority access for Hallasan hiking reservations, and discounts at private tourist attractions.

The Hometown Love Donation system allows individuals to donate up to 5 million won annually to a local government other than their own residence.

올해 고향사랑기부금이 30억 원을 넘어섰습니다.

지난해 모금액인 15억 1천만원에 비해 2배 이상으로

10만 원 이상 기부자에게
공영관광지 무료입장이나 한라산 탐방예약 별도 인원 배정,
민영관광지 이용료 할인 등
다양한 혜택을 제공하며 홍보를 강화했기 때문으로 보고 있습니다.

고향사랑기부제는
개인이
주소지가 아닌
다른 지방자치단체에
연간 500만 원 이내로 기부할 수 있습니다.
