Jeju lawmakers have secured a total of 8.6 billion won in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for the second half of this year.

Breaking it down by each legislator:
- Jeju City ‘Gap’ Rep. Moon Dae-lim (문대림) secured 1.7 billion won for four projects, including 800 million won for the expansion of rural roads in Hallim-eup (한림읍), 1.1 billion won for drainage improvements in Aewol-eup (애월읍), and 700 million won for the renovation of the Mosalbat (모살밭) Hall at Geumneung (금능) Beach.

- Jeju City ‘Eul’ Rep. Kim Han-kyu (김한규) secured 1.7 billion won for four projects, including 500 million won for the installation of road heating in Jocheon-eup (조천읍) and 500 million won for a new road connecting Shinseong (신성) Girls High School and Abong-ro (아봉로) road.

- Seogwipo City Rep. Wi Seong-gon (위성곤) secured 5.2 billion won for eight projects, including 2.1 billion won for the renovation of the Gongcheonpo (공천포) Tennis Court, 900 million won for a new road connecting Seohong-dong (서홍동) to Sanrok-ro (산록로) road, and 500 million won for the connection of Suak Oreum (수악오름) Urban Forest Road.

한림읍 농어촌도로 확포장 사업 8억 원을 포함해 애월읍 배수로 개선사업,
금능해수욕장 모살밭회관 리모델링 등 4개 사업 17억 원입니다.

제주시 을 김한규 의원이 확보한 특교세는
조천읍 도로 열선 설치 사업 5억 원,
신성여고와 아봉로를 잇는
도로 개설 사업 5억 원 등 4개 사업 17억 원 규모입니다.

서귀포시 위성곤 의원의 경우
공천포 테니스장 정비 21억 원을 비롯해
서홍동과 산록도로간 도로개설 9억 원,
수악오름 도시숲 도로연결 5억 원 등
8개 사업에서 52억 원을 확보했습니다.
