Policy Changes for 2025


Starting this year, children aged 6 to 12 can ride public buses for free.


Children can ride for free by obtaining a Jeju Transportation Welfare Card from a local NongHyup branch and presenting it when boarding.

For children who have not been able to apply for the card, the free bus pass system will be available until February.


Financial aid of up to 400,000 won will be provided for postpartum care center expenses to help lessen the financial burden of childbirth.

To be eligible, the infant must be registered and living in Jeju, and at least one parent must have resided in Jeju for more than six months.


To support Jeju artists, subsidies for space rent and transportation costs are provided.
One hundred eighty artists will each receive a preparation grant of 2 million won.
Nine artists will each receive 10 million won in rent subsidies for creative spaces.
Additionally, 200 artists will receive 300,000 won each to cover travel expenses to other regions.


Financial assistance known as hope loans is available for young people who have low income or poor credit.

Young people aged 19 to 39 with an annual income below 45 million won can borrow up to 10 million won at a low interest rate of 2.5?3.5%.


To attract younger haenyeo divers, subsidies of 500,000 won per month for three months will be provided to new applicants under the age of 45.


Automated kiosks will be introduced to facilitate the immigration process for cruise tourists.

A total of 38 kiosks will be installed at Jeju Port and Seogwipo Gangjeong Port terminals, allowing 3,000 foreign tourists to scan their passports and speed up immigration processing times by up to 50 minutes.


A mobile hydrogen charging station will be operational for hydrogen fuel passenger vehicles.

The Dodu-dong station in Jeju City takes just three minutes to deliver up to 2.5 kg of hydrogen to a vehicle.

버스를 무료로 이용할 수 잇습니다.

무료 탑승을 위해서는 농협 지점 등에서
제주교통복지카드를 발급 받고 탈때 제시해야 합니다.

다만 제주교통복지카드를 신청하지 못한 어린이들을 위해
다음달(2월)까지
어린이 버스 무료 이용카드 제도를 운영합니다.


출산 가정의
경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위해
산후조리원 이용료에서 40만원이 지원됩니다.

대상은 영아를 출생한 부모 중 한 명이 6개월 이상
제주에 거주하고
영아도 제주에 주민등록을 두고 거주해야 합니다.


제주 예술인들의
창작활동을 지원하기 위해
공간 임차료와 교통비 등도 지원됩니다.

예술인 창작준비금은
한명당 200만원씩 모두 180명을,
창작공간 임차료 지원은
한명당 1천만원씩 모두 9명에게 지급됩니다.

또 예술인 200명에게
한명당 30만원씩 다른지역으로의 이동 교통비도 지원됩니다.

청년층 저소득·저신용 금융 약자들을 지원하기 위해
희망 대출이 이뤄집니다.

연 소득인 4천500만원 이하인
19살 이상 39살 이하의 청년들은
1천만원까지
2.5∼3.5%의 낮은 금리로 대출을 받을 수 있습니다.

젊은 해녀 유입을 위해
45살 미만의 신규 해녀에게
한명당 매달 50만원씩의 지원금을 석달동안 지원합니다.

크루즈 관광객의
원활한 출입국 심사를 위해
무인 자동 심사대가 도입됩니다.

자동 심사대는 제주항과 서귀포 강정항 터미널에 38대가 설치돼
외국인 관광객이 여권 등을 판독하게 디며
출입국 심사 소요 시간이
3천명을 기준으로 최대 50분가량 줄어들게 됩니다.

수소 연료 승용차가
수소를 충전할 수 있는 이동형 수소충전소가 운영됩니다.

제주시 도두동에서 운영되는 이 충전소는
차 1대당
최대 2.5㎏의 수소를
3분안에 충전이 가능합니다.
