Seogwipo City has started accepting applications for the "Self-Owned Garage Support Program" this year, which provides a 90% subsidy for construction costs.

Applications can be submitted at local district community centers or the Seogwipo City Hall's Department of Transportation Administration. After on-site inspections and subsidy evaluations, eligible recipients will be selected.

The maximum support amount is 8 million KRW per location, and the garage must be used for at least 8 years.

However, applicants whose garages do not meet standards due to limited space or those involving illegal structures will not be eligible for the subsidy.

공사비의 90%를 지원하는 올해 자기차고지 갖기 사업 신청 접수를
시작합니다.

지원 신청은
읍면동 주민센터나 서귀포시청 교통행정과에서 접수하며
현장 확인과 보조금 심의를 통해 대상자가 확정됩니다.

지원 규모는 한 곳당 최대 800만원으로
8년동안 의무적으로 사용해야 합니다.

다만 공간 협소 등으로 설치기준에 맞지 않거나
불법 건축물 등은 보조금 지원대상에서 제외됩니다.
