The consumer sentiment index in Jeju has slightly decreased, falling below the benchmark.

According to the Bank of Korea Jeju Branch, the consumer sentiment index for this month is 85.6, a drop of 1.5 points compared to the previous month.

As a result, the index has remained below the benchmark for 18 consecutive months since August 2023.

A consumer sentiment index below 100 indicates that more households have a negative outlook on the economic situation.

전월 대비 1.5포인트 하락했습니다.

이에 따라 도내 소비자심리지수는
2023년 8월부터 18개월 연속 기준치를 밑돌았습니다.

소비자심리지수가 100보다 작으면
경제상황을 부정적으로 보는 가구가
더 많다는 의미입니다.
