Jeju City will deploy safety and health monitors at construction sites to ensure safety starting next month, for a period of five months.

Two monitors were selected through the public works program for the first half of the year. They will visit 2-3 construction sites daily to provide guidance and promote safety awareness.

Key inspection items include the installation of safety facilities, the use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to safety regulations. There will also be an emphasis on promoting activities to prevent major accidents.

다음달부터 5개월간 건설현장에 안전보건지킴이를
배치해 운영합니다.

안전보건지킴이는
상반기 공공근로사업으로 2명이 최종 선발됐으며,
하루 2~3군데 건설현장을 직접 방문해
계도와 홍보활동을 하게 됩니다.

주요 점검 사항은 안전시설 설치상태와 개인보호구 착용 여부,
안전수칙 준수 여부 등으로
중대재해 예방 홍보활동도 강화할 계획입니다.
