Recently, there has been a rise in cases of forest damage, prompting the police to enhance their response.

According to the Jeju Municipal Police, over the past three years, approximately 200 cases of forest damage have been forwarded to the prosecution.

This year, as of this month, 26 cases of forest damage have either been forwarded to the prosecution or are under investigation, showing an upward trend.

The police force plans to strengthen cooperation with relevant agencies, such as local governments, to prevent forest damage in advance and ensure severe punishment for serious offenses.

최근 3년동안
검찰에 송치된 산림훼손 사건은
모두 200여 건 입니다.

올해는 이달 기준
검찰에 송치했거나 수사하고 있는
산림훼손 사건이 26건으로
다시 증가 추세를 보이고 있습니다.

자치경찰단은
행정시 등 유관 기관과 협력을 강화해
산림 훼손을 사전에 예방하고
중대 사안에 대해서는
엄중한 처벌을 받도록 적극 대응할 방침입니다.
