E-mart becomes sole shareholder of Jeju Soju

E-mart is now the sole shareholder of Jeju Soju.

The Financial Supervisory Service made an official announcement Monday that E-mart had purchased Jeju Soju for 25 billion won.

The retailer also announced its plan to diversify product lines and invest more heavily in foreign markets.

E-mart’s takeover of Jeju Soju took about six months. The two sides signed a provisional contract in June.

이마트가 주식회사 제주소주 지분을 100% 인수했습니다.

이마트는 어제(2일) 금융감독원을 통해 자본금 250억 원에 제주소주 지분을 100% 인수했다고 공시했습니다.

이마트는 앞으로 투자 확대로 상품을 다변화 하고 해외 수출도 추진하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

이로써 이마트의 제주소주 인수는 지난해 6월 가계약 체결 이후 6개월만에 모두 마무리됐습니다.
