5. Jeju Math Festival this weekend
Teachers, students from across Korea and abroad to meet at ICC Jeju

The Jeju Mathematics Festival is this Saturday and Sunday at the International Convention Center.

Hosted by the provincial government and the provincial office of education, the festival has seven parts. They include math activities, contests, and research club presentations.

This is the 19th edition of the festival. Teachers and students from Japan, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and schools from ten of Korea’s provinces and major cities will participate. Another 700-or-so students will assist in running the activity booths.

제주수학축전 15~16일 ICC서 개최

제주수학축전이 오는 15일부터 이틀동안 제주국제컨벤션센터 일원에서 열립니다.

제주도와 제주도교육청이 공동으로 마련한 이번 행사에는 수학 체험전과 경진대회, 수학탐구동아리 발표 등 모두 7개 영역으로 나눠 진행됩니다.

올해로 19번째를 맞는 수학축전에는 전국 10개 시도교육청 소속 학교와 일본, 베트남, 우즈베키스탄 교사와 학생이 참여하고 7백여 명의 학생 도우미가 체험코너를 운영합니다.
