Province to double special funding, issue more Jeju Gift Certificates

Provincial officials have announced more support for small, locally-owned businesses.

They say the province will expand its special guarantee funding and issue more Jeju Gift Certificates to help small and independent businesses.

The special guarantee funding is being doubled from 12 to 24 billion won. The local government will also pay 3 percent of the interest on operations stabilization loans for small businesses. That support is currently 2.8 percent.

The province will boost the amount of Jeju Gift Certificates it issues from the current 5 billion won to 14 billion won. Finally, beginning next year, it is considering increasing the proportion of welfare points it gives to civil servants as gift certificates for local businesses.

골목상권 보증 확대, 제주사랑상품권 추가 발행

골목상권에 대한 보증 규모가 확대되고 제주사랑상품권이 추가 발행됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 이같은 내용을 골자로 한 소상공인과 자영업자 지원대책을 마련해 발표했습니다.

주요내용을 보면 골목상권 살리기 특별보증 규모를 현재 120억원에서 240억원으로 소상공인 경영안전자금 융자에 따른 이자차액보전을 현재 2.8%에서 3%로 확대합니다.

특히 제주사랑상품권을 현재 50억원에서 140억원으로 추가 발행하고 내년부터 공무원 복지포인트의 상품권 지급 비율을 확대하는 방안을 검토합니다.
