3. New map of April 3rd Incident historical sites caters to disabled travelers
20 locations chosen based on wheelchair accessibility

The provincial government and the April 3rd Incident 70th Anniversary Committee have created a map of 20 sites related to the tragedy specifically for the disabled and other people who have a hard time touring the island.

The sites include Gwandeokjeong, the “Jujeong Plant” site, and the April 3rd Peace Park. They were chosen based on their wheelchair accessibility.

10,000 maps were printed up and are now being given out at the airport. They will also be distributed to organizations related to the disabled.

The map can also be accessed through the “Jangae in Jeju” application.


관광약자 위한 4·3유적지 선정…안내지도 배포

제주도와 4.3 70주년 기념사업위원회가 관광약자들을 위한 4.3유적지 20군데를 선정하고 유적지 지도 1만부를 제작해 배포합니다.

이번에 선정된 4.3유적지는 관덕정과 주정공장 옛터, 4.3평화공원 등 20군데로 휠체어 접근성 등을 기준으로 선정됐습니다.

4.3유적지 지도는 현재 제주공항 등에서 무료로 배포되고 있으며 앞으로 전국 장애인 관련 단체에도 배포될 예정입니다.

또 '장애 in 제주' 어플리케이션을 통해서도 제공되고 있습니다.
