4. Yongyeon On-board Music Concert September 15
Musicians, dancers, etc. perform from boats on Yongyeon Pond

The 19th Yongyeon On-board Music Concert is September 15th in Jeju City.

The event gets its name because the musicians perform from boats and rafts on Yongyeon Pond. It is being hosted by Jeju City, while the Jeju Cultural Institute is organizing it.

The concert will begin with a traditional pungmul performance. A wide range of other spectacles will follow, including traditional and western music concerts, dance performances, and a demonstration of a traditional exorcism by the Jeju Tamna Art Group.

In addition, there will be a special stage from which 11 choirs will sing in unison and another area for a singing group consisting of members of the audience.


용연 선상음악회, 오는 15일 개막

올해로 19회째를 맞는 용연 선상음악회가 오는 15일 제주시 용연 일대에서 열립니다.

제주시가 주최하고 제주문화원이 주관하는 이번 음악회는 풍물놀이 길트기를 시작으로 제주탐라예술단의 굿놀이를 비롯해 국악과 양악, 무용 등 다채로운 공연이 진행됩니다.

특히 11개 합창단으로 꾸며진 연합합창단과 관객이 함께 부르는 대합창 무대도 마련됩니다.
