4. Discount for bus riders who transfer to taxis
Fares cut ￦800 for people who pay with credit cards

People who transfer from a bus to a taxi and pay for their travel with a credit card now qualify for discounts on their trips.

The provincial government expanded its transfer discount program Monday. Until then, only people who paid by transportation card qualified.

Bus riders who get in a taxi within 40 minutes of getting off the bus will receive an 800 won discount on their taxi fare.

Jeju is the first place in the nation to offer this type of discount for credit card payments.

신용카드도 택시환승 할인 적용

신용카드로 버스와 택시 요금을 결제하면 환승할인을 받을 수 있습니다.

제주도는 그동안 교통카드 결제시 적용됐던 버스 택시 환승요금 할인제를
신용카드 등으로 확대한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 12일부터 신용카드로 버스를 탄 후 40분 이내 택시로 갈아타면 택시요금이 800원 할인되고 있습니다.

신용카드 택시 환승할인제 도입은 전국에서 제주가 처음입니다.
