5. National merit recipients qualify for water bill reduction
3,600 beneficiaries in Jeju City

Jeju City is accepting applications from national merit recipients or, if they have died, their family members for water bill reductions.

War veterans also qualify for the benefit, pushing the total number of beneficiaries up to roughly 3,600 households. The city will cut the water bill for only residences and only houses in which the beneficiary actually lives.

To apply, a beneficiary must visit his or her local community service center with a copy of the document proving that he or she is either a national merit recipient or the relative of one.

제주시가 국가유공자와 유족 등에 대한 상수도 사용료 감면 신청을 접수합니다.

대상은 국가유공자와 참전유공자, 대표유족 등 3천 600여 세대로 실제 거주지의
가정용 상수도에 한해 감면해줍니다.

유공자와 유족의 급수전이라도 가정용이 아니거나 실제 거주하지 않으면 감면 대상에서 제외됩니다.

지원을 희망하는 경우 유공자증과 유족증 사본 등을 첨부해 거주지 읍면동주민센터로 신청하면 됩니다.
