4. JTO awarded grand prize in Korea Public Policy Awards
Jeju Tourism Organization lauded for pursuing ‘quality growth’

The Jeju Tourism Organization has been awarded the grand prize in the Korea Public Policy Awards.

The awards are put on by the Korean Association of Public Policy and the Korea Institute of the Public Sector.

The JTO received high praise for its public policy to pursue quality growth. Those efforts include promoting local tourism, doing more online promotions, and expanding joint marketing efforts in the local tourism industry.

In addition, CEO (박홍배) Park Hong-bae received a citation from the National Assembly for JTO projects that were found to contribute to local society.

제주관광공사가 한국공공정책학회와 한국공공기관연구원에서 공동 주관한 대한민국 공공정책 시상식에서 정책 부문 대상을 수상했습니다.
