3. Jeju City turning more vacant land into parking lots
335 more parking spaces by April

Jeju City plans to transform vacant land into 21 parking lots this year.

Ten will be in Ara-dong, five in (이도2동) Ido 2-dong, and three in (노형동) Nohyeong-dong. All told, the city will create 335 parking spaces.

The city will place the construction orders for the sites this month, with a plan to have the new parking lots up and running by April.

Jeju City currently has 500 of these parking lots in vacant areas. They can accommodate about 96-hundred cars.

제주시, 공한지 주차장 추가 조성

제주시는 올해 아라동 10곳을 비롯해 이도2동 5곳, 노형동 3곳 등 21개 공한지에
주차장을 추가 조성해 모두 335대가 주차할 수 있는 공간을 확보할 예정이라고 밝혔습니다.

이달 중 조성 공사를 발주해 오는 4월부터는 주차장으로 활용할 계획입니다.

제주시에는 현재 500군데 공한지에 모두 9천 600여대의 주차공간이 조성돼 있습니다.
