4. Province to strengthen quarantine against ASF
120 inspectors to patrol 290 local pig farms

The province will strengthen quarantine inspections for the African Swine Fever during the Chuseok holidays.

Local officials will conduct a 24-hour emergency quarantine system starting next month due to increasing risks of ASF virus in the island during Chuseok.

The government will sterilize incoming passengers and vehicles arriving at the airport and seaport. It will also station 120 officers at some 290 pig farms in the island to conduct inspections more than once a week.

Meanwhile, 1,600 pigs from 270 local pig farms have tested negative for ASF virus.

다음 달부터
24시간 비상 방역체계를 추진한다고 밝혔습니다.

공항만으로 들어오는 입도객과 차량에 대해 소독을 실시하고
양돈농가 290여 곳에
120여 명의 담당관를 배치해 주 1회 이상 예찰할 계획입니다.

한편 도내 270농가, 돼지 1천 6백여 마리를 대상으로 한
돼지열병 검사에서는
모두 음성으로 나왔습니다.
