Healthcare Town Construction project to resume around September

The Healthcare Town construction project, which has been suspended for more than two years since 2017, will resume around next month.

According to the Jeju Free International City Development Center, the project’s developer Greenland Group will pay overdue construction payments of 60 billion won to three contractors by the end of this month.

Thus, the construction will resume next month after the preparation work for the reconstruction.

However, the normalization of the Greenland International Hospital is expected to take some time as it is currently facing some lawsuits and its license was cancelled by the province.

헬스케어타운 공사가 다음달 쯤 재개됩니다.

제주국제자유도시개발센터에 따르면
헬스케어타운 사업자인 녹지그룹은
이달 말까지
미지급 공사비 6백억 여 원을
국내 시공사 3곳에 지급할 계획입니다.

아울러 국내 투자회사로부터 자금 조달이 이뤄지면
다음 달부터
공사가 재개될 예정입니다.

하지만 병원 개설허가가 취소된 녹지국제병원은
각종 소송에 휘말리면서
정상화까지 시간이 걸릴 전망입니다.
