2. 2nd Airport Special Committee begins full-scale operation
Committee to seek ways to gather islanders’ opinions

The provincial council’s special committee created to solve conflict surrounding the island’s second airport construction project asked the provincial government for 300 million won to cover research expenses and started procedures to gather islanders’ opinions.

The budget that reflects the committee’s research expenses must be passed within this Friday; however, it has been shelved by the provincial government twice already.

The committee will invite experts on conflict resolution to its workshop this Friday and next Wednesday, to seek ways to gather opinions from local residents.

제주도에 요구하는 한편 도민의견 수렴에 나섰습니다.

특위가 요구한 용역비는
3억원으로 다음달 6일 심의에 통과돼야 하는데
제주도는 이미 두차례 심사보류한 바 있습니다.

제2공항 특위는
다음달 6일과 11일 갈등해소 전문가 워크숍을 개최해
도민의견 수렴 방법을 모색할 계획입니다.
