3. KEPCO to install cables underground at 4 roads in Seogwipo City
Entire 1.5 km sector of roads to go under construction

Next year, the Korea Electric Power Corporation will remove all utility poles from four roads in Seogwipo City and install electric and telecommunication cables underground.

Lawmaker Wi Seong-gon announced that four roads in Seogwipo City have been selected by KEPCO for its next year’s underground cable installation project.

Thus, the corporation will carry out the project at a 1.5 kilometer section of the four designated a road at Donghong Jugong Apartment Complex 5, Hando-ro at Seongsan-eup, (동홍중앙로)Donghongjungang-ro and (중정로 91번길) Jungjeong-ro 91beon-gil.

내년 서귀포 4개 도로 '전선 지중화' 공사

내년 서귀포지역 4개 도로에서
전주나 통신주를 제거하고
전선과 각종 통신선을 지하에 매설하는 지중화 사업이 추진됩니다.

위성곤 국회의원은
한국전력의 내년 가공배전선로 지중화사업 대상지로
서귀포지역 4군데가
선정됐다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 한국전력공사는
서귀포시 동홍중앙로와 중정로 91번길,
동홍주공5단지아파트 도로,
성산읍 한도로 등
모두 1.5km 구간에 대해
지중화 공사에 들어갈 예정입니다.
