Jeju employment rate stands at 67.5%
Down 0.7% from last year

In the aftermath of COVID-19, the unemployment rate in Jeju has risen, while the employment rate has seen a decline.

According to the Honam Regional Statistics Office, the employment rate in the province stood at 67.5 percent in September, which was a decrease of 0.7 percent points compared to the same period last year.

On the other hand, the unemployment rate rose by 0.8 percent points from last year to 2.4 percent, and the number of unemployed people rose by 3,000 to 9,000.

지난달 제주지역 고용률은 떨어지고
실업률은 증가한 것으로 나타났습니다.

호남지방통계청에 따르면
9월 도내 고용률은 67.5%로
전년 동기대비 0.7%포인트 떨어진 것으로 집계됐습니다.

반면 실업률은 2.4%로
지난해보다 0.8%포인트 상승했으며,
실업자 수는 3천명 증가한 9천명을 기록했습니다.
