Expansion of shelters for mobile workers
Delivery drivers, substitute drivers can use the facilities for rest

The province is promoting a plan to install additional rest areas for mobile workers. Currently, the shelter is operating near Jeju City Hall.

Accordingly, they will conduct various research on the occupational groups, types of work, and preferred location of mobile workers who would be using the rest areas, and collect the opinions of the residents.

In particular, they plan to gradually expand rest shelters for mobile workers throughout the province according to the results of the research service.

The mobile workers shelter was opened in July 2019 so that delivery drivers and substitute drivers could use the facility for rest, counseling, and educational purposes.

5. 퀵서비스 등 이동노동자 쉼터 확대 설치 추진

제주도가 현재 제주시청 인근에서 운영하고 있는
이동노동자 쉼터를 확대 설치하는 방안을 추진합니다.

이에따라 연구용역을 통해
쉼터를 이용하는 이동노동자들의 직업군과 근로 형태,
장소 선정 등을 조사하고 도민 의견을 수렴하게 됩니다

특히 연구용역 결과에 따라 이동노동자 쉼터를
도 전역으로 점차 확대해나갈 계획입니다.

이동노동자 쉼터는 퀵서비스 기사나 대리운전 기사 등이
휴식과 상담, 교육 등에 이용할 수 있도록
지난 2019년 7월 문을 열었습니다.
