The provincial government and Jeju Energy Corporation donated 300 million won of wind power profit-sharing funds, to Jeju office of the Community Chest of Korea.

The donation will be used to support electricity bills during summer for households with the disabled as well as grandparents.
4,000 households will receive up to 90,000 won.

Applicants are to submit their applications to community centers and beneficiaries will be selected by the Community Chest of Korea by the end of the month.

Wind power profit-sharing funds are raised and donated from profits made by wind power developers and sales of electricity.
