Oil taxes which are levied on gasoline and diesel will be reduced by 20% temporarily from November 12th.

Seoul decided to make the reduction
to decrease the burden on households and companies
caused by the increase in oil prices.

Thus, prices of gasoline will be lowered by 164 won per liter,
116 won per liter for diesel
and 40 won for (뷰테인) butane gas.

The reduction of oil taxes will be in effect for 6 months
from November 12th to April 30th, 2022.
