￦200,000 Cap on Agri-Gifts

If people want to give agricultural and fisheries products as gifts for Chuseok and Lunar New Year holidays, up to 200,000 won worth of presents will be allowed.

Lawmaker Song Jae-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea said that the revision of Anti Graft Law has passed the State Affairs Committee’s Legislative Subcommittee.

The revision bill includes that agricultural and fisheries products
can be given as presents worth up to 200,000 won,
which is double the amount of the current allowed amount.
This applies during the period of 30 days before Chuseok
and Lunar New Year holidays and seven days after those holidays.

If the revision bill passes with enough votes
at the plenary session,
the bill will be in effect from next year.

농수산가공품에 한해 20만원까지 허용될 전망입니다.

더불어민주당 송재호 의원은 이같은 내용을 골자로 발의한 청탁금지법 개정안이
정무위원회 법안소위에서 의결됐다고 밝혔습니다.

주요내용을 보면
설날과 추석 전 30일부터와 후 7일까지
농수산가공품에 한해
가액범위를 현재의 두 배인 20만원까지로 상향 조정됩니다.

앞으로 법제사법위원회와 본회의 투표를 거쳐 의결되면
이 법안은 내년부터 시행될 전망입니다.
