More Join to Reduce Plastic

Institutions financed by the provincial government will join in the campaign for reducing uses of single-use plastics.

The province said that as follow-up measures of
the campaign publicized in June,
10 organizations supported by the provincial office will also join in this plastic-reduction campaign.

Thus, they will encourage employees
to use tumblers and wet umbrella dryers
in offices and will no longer provide paper cups at events.

The provincial office will expand the campaign
to include other organizations as well as citizens.

제주도내 출자.출연기관들이
1회용 플라스틱 사용 금지에 동참합니다.

제주도는 지난 6월 발표한
쓰레기 걱정 없는 제주 선포에 따른 후속 조치로
도내 출자.출연기관 10곳이
플라스틱 사용 금지에 동참한다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 이들 기관은 청사 내에서 개인 컵이나 텀블러를 사용하고
경조사 때 종이컵 제공 금지,
우산 빗물 제거기 사용 등을 추진합니다.

제주도는 다른 기관과
도민사회에 대해서도
플라스틱 사용 줄이기를 확대해나갈 방침입니다.
