Wearable Health Device for Cattle

The College of Veterinary Medicine of Jeju National University and a company called HRG collaboratively developed the world’s first wearable device to measure heart rates of cows and cattles and the amount of their feed intake.

The device allows users to monitor
various vital and clinical signs of cattles and cows
in real time.

Hence, the device is expected to detect diseases earlier
by collecting data, such as a heart rate, breathing rate, feed intake, rumination behavior, the amount of activities
and other information.

세계에서 처음 사료섭취량 심박수 측정기 개발에 성공했습니다.

이번에 개발한 측정기는
젖소나 고기소에서의
각종 생체와 임상 신호를
실시간으로 모니터링 할 수 있는 웨어러블 형태입니다.

이에따라 심박수나 호흡수, 사료 섭취량,
반추량, 활동량 등의
데이터를 수집할 수 있게 돼
조기에 질병을 감시하는데 효과를 기대하고 있습니다.
