Businesses Violating Environment

The provincial office has caught 12 business sites which violated post management conditions stipulated in the environmental impact assessment agreement.

The cases include not implementing protection measures
for protected species, violating effluent standards
in sewage treatment facilities and
not conducting post investigation properly.

The province asked violators to follow the content
of the agreement and imposed fines on two business sites
which made serious violations.

21% of business sites did not follow the agreement
and 81 violations made by 49 companies were minor
and they were recommended to implement
the contents of the agreement.



환경영향평가 사후관리 위반 12곳 적발

제주도가
환경영향평가 협의내용에 따른 사후관리를 위반한
사업장 12곳을 적발하고 이행 조치를 요청했습니다.

적발된 위반사항을 보면
법정보호종 보호대책을 수립하지 않거나 오수처리시설 방류수기준 초과,
사후조사를 일부 실시하지 않은 사례 등입니다.

제주도는 이들 적발된 사업장에 협의 내용을 이행할 것을 요청하는 한편
위반 사항이 중대한 2곳에 대해서는 과태료를 부과했습니다.

환경영향평가 협의 내용을 이행하지 않은
사업장 비율은 전체의 21%였고
49개 사업장의 81건은 경미한 사항으로 확인돼
제주도가 이행 권고 조치했습니다.
