Consumer Prices Rise 4%

The consumer prices last month in Jeju grew at the fastest pace in 10 years. According to the (호남) Honam Regional Statistics Office,
consumer prices were up 4.5 percent last month
compared to the same period last year.

That’s the highest growth in ten years and three months.

In addition, the consumer price index for living necessities was up 6 percent over the same period last year,
which is the largest growth rate.

By product category, a 6.7 percent spike was recorded in prices for agricultural and fishery products and
a 7 percent rise was shown in prices for industrial goods.

소비자물가 상승률 4%…10년 3개월 만에 최고치

지난 달 제주지역 소비자물가 상승률이
4%를 넘기며 10년 3개월 만에 최고치를 기록했습니다.

호남지방통계청에 따르면 지난 달 제주지역 소비자물가는
전년도 같은 기간과 비교해 4.5% 올랐습니다.
이는 10년 3개월만에 가장 높은 상승률입니다.

생활물가지수 역시
전년 동월 대비 6% 상승하며
가장 높은 상승률을 나타냈습니다.

품목별로 보면
농축수산물이 6.7% 올랐고, 공업제품은 7% 상승했습니다.
