New Deal Project Under Way at Ports

Three provincial ports have been selected as sites for a Fishery New Deal Development project led by Seoul.

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has recently selected
50 sites for the fishery village new deal project nationwide
and (묵리) Mukri Port in Chujado Island, as well as (사계) Sagye Port and (세화) Saehwa Port are included in the list.

In the selected sites, old facilities will be modernized and projects specialized for each site will be pushed forward with an investment amounting to
7 to 9 billion won per site for the duration of three years.

정부 차원의 어촌개발 사업이
제주지역 항.포구 3곳에서 이뤄집니다.

해양수산부는 최근
어촌뉴딜 사업 신규 대상지로 전국 50곳을 선정한 가운데
제주에서는
추자 묵리항과 사계항, 세화항 3곳이 포함됐습니다.

해당지역에는
낙후된 어촌 시설을 현대화하고
지역별로 특화된 사업을 추진하기 위해
한 곳당 3년 간 약 70억 원에서 90억 원의 국비가 지원됩니다.
