Electricity bills will rise by more than 4,000 won per month in the first quarter of this year, based on four-person families.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced that it would raise electricity bills by 13.1 won per kilowatt-hour in the first quarter of the year.

As a result, electricity bills charged to four-person families are expected to rise from an average of 52,000 won per month to 57,000 won per month.

This increase applies equally to households as well as industries.

However, the electricity bill for agriculture will be increased by 3.8 won over three years to reduce burden due to the sudden increase.





올해 4인가구 전기요금 월 4천원 인상


전기요금이 올해 1분기에 4인가구 기준으로 월 4천원 넘게 오릅니다.

산업통상자원부는 올해 1분기에 전기요금을 킬로와트시당 13.1원 인상한다고 발표했습니다.

이에 따라 4인 가구에 청구되는 전기요금은 월 평균 5만 2천원대에서 5만 7천원대로 늘어날 것으로 예상됩니다.

이번 전기요금은 가정용과 산업용에 동일하게 적용됩니다.

다만 농사용 전기요금은 급격한 부담을 줄이기 위해 3년에 걸쳐 3.8원씩 나눠서 인상하기로 했습니다.
