Amid the recent rapid spread of COVID-19 in China, all flights from China to Korea will be directed to arrive at Incheon International Airport.

Quarantine authorities said that it is necessary to temporarily restrict Chinese travel to Korea until China's quarantine situation stabilizes. Flights from China connected to local airports such as Jeju and Busan will be directed straight to Incheon Airport.

In addition, the issuance of short-term visas for Chinese people will be restricted with an exception for diplomats, public officials, and people traveling for essential business operations, until February 28.

Meanwhile, China's Juneyao Airlines announced its plans to operate major routes including routes to Jeju.





중국발 한국행 항공편 인천공항으로 일원화


최근 중국에서 코로나19가 빠르게 확산하고 있는 가운데 우리나라로 들어오는 중국발 항공편이 인천공항으로 일원화됩니다.


방역당국은 중국의 방역상황이 안정될 때까지 중국인들의 우리나라 여행을 일시 제한할 필요가 있다며 제주와 부산 등 지방공항과 연결되는 중국발 항공편을 인천공항으로 일원화한다고 밝혔습니다.

또 올해 2월 28일까지 외교나 공무, 필수적 기업 운영 등의 목적 외에는 중국인들의 단기 비자 발급을 제한하기로 했습니다.
